Stops your screen sleeping — click once, that's it. Pick 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, or forever; the toolbar badge counts down what's left. Most keep-awake extensions fake it with a hidden looping video. Caffeinate uses the chrome.power API, so it works after the popup closes and the tab loses focus — where wakeLock dies. Timers use chrome.alarms and survive browser restarts. "Keep screen lit" holds the display on, not just the system. No account, no data collected.
